Registered Psychologist;
BSc Psych (Hons) (UNSW);
Grad Dip Counselling and Human Change (JNI)

Colleen is an Organisational Psychologist with 25 years of human capital experience earned through both corporate and consulting roles. She brings hands-on experience and insights across a broad array of HR roles including OD, Training, Leadership Development, Recruitment, Talent, Culture and Quality. This experience has been gained in numerous organisations including Westpac Group, Deloitte, BHP, Macquarie Bank, Optus, Public Service Commission (NSW), Defence Science and Technology Organisation, University of NSW, Sydney University, China Light and Power (Hong Kong), Department of Corrections (Hong Kong), and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (USA).

When working at the Children’s Hospital, Colleen observed firsthand an age-inclusive medical workforce. When it came to the health of children, age did not matter – the only thing that mattered was whether employees could contribute something useful to the care of critically-ill children.

Colleen now creates that age-inclusive culture for Australian organisations, their employees, clients and stakeholders. She is passionate about reducing age-bias in organisations and helping organisations to be inclusive of people of all age groups. Whether that entails the redesign of corporate systems and processes or the re-calibrating of mindsets and behaviours, Colleen is able to work alongside your HR team to co-design and implement pragmatic and workable solutions.

Working collaboratively and flexibly with Clients, Colleen is able to bring out the best in situations and people – so that all workers can bring their wisdom, experience and expertise to the table.

If you want to build an organisation based on the best talent for each role, where diverse and talented people work together, then Colleen can help you get there. At every stage of the employee life cycle, from recruitment to retirement, Colleen can pin-point those systems and processes to update so that your organisation and its leaders can be more inclusive and age-neutral.

Recent projects that Colleen has been working on include:

  • Increasing Inclusive Leadership behaviours for senior leaders in a Big 4 Consulting firm

  • Reducing cognitive bias in mindsets of mid-level leaders for an Investment Bank

  • Reviewing and implementing new recruitment systems to support contemporary D&I targets for a largescale Financial Services organisation.
